Manchester city manager roberto mancini had said the club was close to
signing now-manchester united forward,robin van persie during the
summer but pointed out that there were reasons why the transfer of the
dutch man to the blue half of manchester did not happen.
''I think i know why the deal never happened,but i wont say it,and its
not about the money'' ,the italian said.
Mancini must be obsessed with robin van persie as the dutchman has
helped sir alex' men to number1 position on the EPL table with 7points
gap between them and manchester city[the closest club to them].The
dutchman has scored 14goals in 20league appearances this season.
The italian feels the dutchman is the difference between both
manchester clubs.,''he's the difference between the two clubs,he has
something special our other strikers dont have''..
