The red devils were comeback kings once more when they survived an
early scare at the hands of braga when the visitors had a shocking
2-goal lead at the theatre of dreams in just 20minutes of play.
It all ended in a nightmare for braga when united finally made the
turn around through chicharito.
Braga opened the scoring earlier enough in the 2nd minutes when hugo
viana made a cross into a disjointed united area,only for alan to
head in from close range.United have being warned by sir alex before
the match on the counter attacking prowress of braga,but it seems the
defence line turned deaf ears and were punished again when eder broke
away from carrick and gave a pass to alan to double the lead in the
20th minute.
United always had a kind of fight-back spirit,and they put that into
action when in 5minutes time,chicarito was setup by kagawa who reacted
on a loose ball from van persie only to put in a precise cross to the
mexican to head home.At half time ,it was 2-1,however,in the second
half,Parity was restored to the game when rvp's corner was woefully
cleared only for jonny evans to capitalise on it to give united the
equaliser..nani was brought into the game to replace the injured
kagawa.,but that didnt deter the red devils when chicharito again,went
to nod in tom cleverly's clever cross to give united the lead.The
mexican was later replaced by giggs,and united went on to secure the
victory which leaves the 5points clear at the expense of other teams
in their group.
