Super Eagles:Are we there yet?

When you miss a match with a 6-1 scoreline,you would feel you have missed 7 great goal,loads of entertainment & rightly so.
While it is unfair to dismiss Super Eagles' goal laden performance as a one off it is inaccurate to see it as a sign of things to come.
The midfield was not compact,they could not keep the ball for long & dictate play.Most attacking moves lacked panache & depended on individual brilliance.
The defense was just too bad,they looked shaky even in simple situations,they couldn't deal with crosses & continually lacked good positioning.These are inadequacies any decent team(we all know Lone stars are one terrible bunch!)will take advantage of.
So before we all start another round of praise singing,let us look at the bigger picture.
