UNITED FIGHTS BACK AGAINST QPR

Manchester united stayed at home to welcome QPR at the old
trafford, with new manager harry redknapp watching his new side succumb
again to defeat at the hands of the comeback kings who came from a
goal down again to win the match.

With united having to win the game in order to put pressure on chelsea
and manchester city ahead of their game at stamford tomorrow.,the
likes of paul scholes, rooney, van persie, fletcher ,ashley young all
started the match. The game started and united took control of the
possesion[who else?],with so much pressure on the relegation battled
team, united had various chances ,ranging from van persie's side
netting,ahsley young's miss and others,looks like a goal was
forthcoming but it never did in the first 45minutes.

The second 45minutes was put underway by the rangers, and a shock lead
was taken when QPR went on the rampage, and mackie was the man who got
them the lead of the game[they've always done.],a squared ball was
enough for him to slot home in the 54'....just 10minutes later, united
bounced back as a rooney-corner was put in the box for welbeck to nod
down for the weaving evans to nod home and restore parity to the
match.

United were hungry for more and anderson and hernandez were
introduced, both players light up the game, and just 4minutes
later, darren fletcher got his first goal after returning from injury,a
68th-minutes header from a rooney-corner[again?] enabled the red
devils to take the lead.

United put QPR to the sword as a 72' goal from hernandez ensured the
game was put to bed, anderson made a great run from the midfield,he
then squares for hernandez to slot home.Late chances from rvp werent
converted as the dutch man has gone 3games without a goal.

However united have now leaped to the 1st position[temporarily] on the
EPL table with 30points as chelsea and manchester city are yet to
play.
