SUPER EAGLES BEAT VENEZUELA

Early this morning, the super eagles defeated Venezuela @ the new Marlins Park by 3goals to one.
The Super Eagles were impressive in victory, they played a fast & physical game in an attempt to match the slick passing game adopted by the Venezuelans. This made for a very pleasant game.
Venezuela thought they had taken the lead in 15th minute when Arango powered in a header but it was ruled out for offside.
In the 2nd half,Nigeria took the lead through Ideye Brown, three minutes later Nosa Igiebor made it two from a 35 yard screamer.
On the 70th minute,Venezuela got a reward for their attacking game as they pulled one back through Feltscher after being slipped in by Arango.
Eddy Onazi restored the 2goal margin in the 90th minute after a brilliant pull back from debutant Shola Ameobi.
The game ended 3-1 in Nigeria's favour.

It's was a good run out for old & new players alike & it will be useful for Coach Keshi in picking his final squad for the Nations Cup but what is the wisdom in playing a game 2:05AM Nigeria time,a time when most Nigerians will be asleep & won't be able to watch their beloved National Team?
