NANI ON THE BRINK

Luis Nani is a curious player. Not many players can be so talented & frustrating at the same time. This minute he will impress you with a brilliant footwork that leaves his marker in no man's land, the next he will annoy you by taking the same footwork too far. This minute he will amaze you with a wonder goal that came out if nowhere, the next he will leave you red faced fuming at him refusal to track back & pick up an opponent(like he often does to Sir Alex). Not to forget,he is also one of the game's greatest narcissist, with an ego the size of a small country.
These obvious flaws in his game & personality requires him to produce his moments of magic more often, but no,he is far too inconsistent to do that.
Sir Alex has put up with him for long but with the emergence of Antonio Valencia as probably the most effective winger in the game he doesn't have to.Sir Alex has pointed this fact out to him by refusing to offer him an improved contract, then trying to sell him to Zenit & now blaming him for the outcome of the league cup clash against Chelsea.
All hope is not lost for Nani though,he could still rekindle his Old Trafford career. He has the capability to do so.But if history is anything to go by,when a player falls out with Sir Alex,he doesn't come out in good shape.
