Chile visited Ecuador with the aim of taking maximum points,the match started on the right note for them as an unfortunate own goal from Paredes gave them the lead,Felipe Caicedo then struck twice to put Ecuador in front after which Castillo scored for Ecuador & that one finished 3-1.
Bolivia & Peru shared the spoils,they both settled for a one all draw.
