The spanish giant continued their woeful run against german teams.The
match started with much agog coming from the german supporters.The
game set into play with madrid trying out their luck and missing out
on some great chances early in the match and should have being 2-0 up
in the first 10minutes,the german side also tried to settle in the
game and showing their attackin flare,but couldnt connect well in the
final third.Sami khedira was however replaced due to injury in the
20th minutes by luka modric and not until the 36th minutes when pepe
made a woeful pass which was grabbed by kelh,the midfielder wasted no
time in setting up lewandowski who tripped a little bit downwards to
shoot past casillas from that angle,madrid wasted no time in sending a
message to the german outfit when mesut ozil's precise pass for
ronaldo went over two defenders and was about dropping in front of
ronaldo when he looped the ball over roman and into the net in the
38th minutes.The score went on a draw till half time,the second
started with both teams trying to settle down with casillas called
into action in the 47th minutes by a marco reus free kick,also gotze
got the best from casillas when he shot from 15yards only for casillas
to punch out sideways.The winner however came in the 64th minutes when
schmelzar dwelt on a woeful clearance by casillas from a corner,the

Madrid however pestered for an equaliser but couldnt get any until
full time.Dortmund leads in the group D table..with man city loosing
their match to ajax.
