Player Ratings:Nigeria v Liberia

I will attempt to objectively Super Eagles' players only since there's actually nothing to rate in the hapless Lone Stars.
Enyeama 4.5-Untested for large periods of the game but didn't look convincing anytime he had to make a decision.Perhaps lucky to remain on the pitch after a lunge on Duncan.

Echiejile 6-Got forward with ease to support Musa down the flanks. He had a decent game.

Godfrey Oboabona 6-Made vital interceptions, but sometimes let down by his partner.

Efe Ambrose 4-Scored a goal but had a bad game,he constantly lost his man & misjudged crosses.

Egwueke 5-Stuck to task but wasn't really engaged by the opposition, offered little attacking threat.

Nwankwo 6.5-Worked his socks off, kept things simple & ticking in the middle of the park.

Mikel Obi 7-Scored a goal & had a good game,he made penetrating runs into the attacking third.Impressive display.

Nosa Igiebor 8-He was at the heart of everything good that happened in final third, created countless chances for his teammates & got two assists.Classy.

Ahmed Musa 7-He was lively throughout the game, scored a predatory goal & generally made a nuisance of himself.

Victor Moses 8-The Chelsea new boy scored twice, took his marker to the cleaners time & again, indulged in a bit of show boating but decisive when he had to be.Best outing in a green jersey yet.

Emenike 6.5-He led the line well,he provided Musa's goal & worked hard for the team.
Subs:
IK Uche 6-Unusually lost two great chances but still managed to get on the score sheet with a well taken goal.

Eddy Onazi 5-Got very little of the ball but had a chance to score,he shot high & wide.

Ideye 5-Given a chance to get in the act late on but couldn't impose himself on the game, also missed a decent chance.
