In an interesting match which saw chelsea continue their unbeaten
start to the season at white hart lane as 'the three amigos came to
the party' once more.A thrilling one which saw the awesome and
match-delivering-midfielder,juan mata control the midfield,making
passing and ultimately scoring the goal that levelled chelsea score
line and also the one that took the lead again not to mention setting
up daniel sturrigde injury time goal.
Chelsea took the lead at the lane through cahill's volley in the 18th
minute,no other goal was later recorded in the first half even though
chelsea out to have had more goals.Spurs started the second half in a
great fashion when they performed some quick magic on the pitch when
gallas restored parity in the 47th minutes heading home the
equaliser.,it was gal las first goal for spurs.The white hart lane
outfit later took the shock lead when defoe turned in the ball from
lennon as he scored his 200th career goal.It looked like spurs were
back in the game to take the three points not until a woeful ball
clearance from gallas gave mata the opportunity to drill in a perfect
finish into the corner of the net hence restoring parity through that
equaliser.
Tottenham could'nt believe what had hit them again when eden harzad's
awesome pass went past the woeful gallas again to mata who raced in
and turned in the ball on a one on one contest with friedel.We all
thought the game was done,not until the brilliant mata made sure
daniel sturrigde also had his own share of the goals when the striker
made sure he wasted no time in turning in the ball into the empty net
in the injury time.
Chelsea now at the top of the league ranking with 22points while spurs
move to a decent outside-the-top-four position.
