Italy secured a hard earned victory over Armenia,Pirlo opened the
scoring with a well struck penalty,Henrick Mkhitaryan levelled for the
hosts but two further goals from De Rossi & Osvaldo won the match for
Italy.
Ireland vs. Germany 1:6
The nationalemannshaft were in beast mode this evening,they routed the
boys in green 6goals to one.The goals came from Marco Reus(twice),
Oezil,Klose,Kroos(twice).Andy Keogh gave Ireland a late consolation
though.
England vs. San Marino 5:0
The fourth best football playing country(according to FIFA) against
the worst ever(not official),you would be forgiven for thinking this
will end with a scoreline of 20:0.In the end England only ran out
5nil winners.Rooney started the mini rout when he smashed home a
penalty after Welbeck was upended in the box,Welbeck added a second
two minutes later.In the second half,Rooney got his second of the
night,Welbeck followed suit after which Oxlade Chamberlain scored his
first international goal.
