Jack wilshere got a gift to continue in the arsenal's starting lX
after a long absence when he and his team-mate had to wait till the
84th minutes to see off QPR at the emirates stadium in a tricky
fixture. The game was an open contest from start,as arsenal came close
in the 7th minutes when carzola came close for arsenal just to see his
ball saved by julio ceaser.
Arsenal continue to press, however QPR too also posed various threat as
both sides tried to settle into proceedings, julio ceaser blushes was
saved by bosingwa when the keeper practically 'played' with the ball
at the post, only for giroud to close down on him hence a poor
clearence was attempted which only went to podolski before right back
bosingwa made a clearance.Julio cesar was called into action before
the break by santos and also QPR enjoyed possesion towards the close
of the half, however,no goals were recorded in the 1st 45minutes.
The second half was Put underway by QPR and both teams try to settle
and get a goal, jack wilshere was replaced by pacy theo walcott whilst
arsenal keep knocking but cant unlock..olivier giroud and estaben
granero[had being quite rough] were yellow carded.QPR made changes
with djibril cisse and nedum onuorha coming on for zamora and traore
respectively.Arsenal made changes too with podolski coming off for
gervinho.
Stephane mbia was given his marching orders when he kick vermalen
which made QPR reduced to 10men,this made an impact in the match later
on as arsenal now began to rise the tempo of the game.shaun wright
philips was replaced by hogan ephraim and gervinho also replaced by
andrey arshavin after some treatment.
Arsenal finaly got what they wanted in the 84th minutes when mikel
arteta dwelled on arshavin's processed play and just to nod the ball
in gave arsenal the lead.Granero and mackie saw late chances but
couldnt convert to goal as arsenal went on winners at full time .
